Big Bore walnut mallard duck call
My big bore walnut mallard duck calls are made from the finest english or black walnut grown here in California. For decades California has been known for some of the best walnut trees in the world. It is the densest and finest quality walnut you cn find anywhere. This walnut makes an exceptional duck call. And as a bonus, the walnut holds up BEST under very harsh conditions. It is less likely to split over time as the walnut wood is a softer wood than cocobolo, osage or african blackwood. This is my personal choice when it comes to duck calls. These calls are much rasoier than cocobolo, osage or african blackwood. I can tune them any way you like. High pitch, or deep and raspy. If no special instructions are given, I will send them out set at a medium. Medium in tone and a good solid medium Rasp. Again, this is what I prefer as I like my mallard calls very raspy.
