Our African blackwood teal whistle with a semi gloss finish. Fully adjustable to call all whistling ducks. Teal, wigeon, pintail and greenhead mallards. The call features a double o-ring design that ensures the insert sets into the calling position when pulled out for pintail.

Burnt orange osage mallard calls with my original ( big bore ) double reed Louisiana style guts. My big bore calls work great on open water. The toneboard and reeds are set in place using a snap ring, then glued with epoxy.
Very easy to operate for any caller of any age. They sound great blown soft for close birds, or push a lot of air into them for maximum volume. I usually set calls at a medium tone unless someone asks to custom build the call. I can set the reeds to high, medium or deep in tone. If you would like a call custom tuned special for you. These calls will come with a custom lanyard that allows your call to hang down and let the moisture drop out of the barrel.
MY ORIGINAL DOUBLE REED COCOBOLO MALLARD DUCK CALL
Made from cocobolo with a double reed Louisiana style toneboard. The reeds, tonbaord and wedge are set in place using a snap ring and epoxy glued .
These calls are extremely easy to blow. you can blow any amount of air into the call and never over blow it. The harder you blow, the louder they get! But don't be fooled, the same call will finish birds with ease on the bottom end.
My big bore walnut mallard duck calls are made from the finest english or black walnut grown here in California. For decades California has been known for some of the best walnut trees in the world. It is the densest and finest quality walnut you cn find anywhere. This walnut makes an exceptional duck call. And as a bonus, the walnut holds up BEST under very harsh conditions. It is less likely to split over time as the walnut wood is a softer wood than cocobolo, osage or african blackwood. This is my personal choice when it comes to duck calls. These calls are much rasoier than cocobolo, osage or african blackwood. I can tune them any way you like. High pitch, or deep and raspy. If no special instructions are given, I will send them out set at a medium. Medium in tone and a good solid medium Rasp. Again, this is what I prefer as I like my mallard calls very raspy.
My newest creation. Created exactly like my original mallard duck call but smaller. Imagine the original scaled down. This call was created for one reason. MORE RASP.
This new small bore call can be blown just like the original mallard call i've made for years. The more air you give the call , the louder it gets. And just like the original, you cannot over blow the call. The rasp that this call produces carries much higher into the calling cadence. Its a great call for hunters that want more rasp but cannot produce it with their voice.
